Memories with the African Continent
Dr. Hamad built close relationships in the countries of Africa, most of which he visited, met their leaders and intellectuals, gave lectures at their universities, and was amazed by their wealth and the culture of their people. He loved visiting African countries, and felt happy whenever he got to know a new country there.
Several factors combined to bring him closer to this continent, and enabled him to get to know its leaders, its political and cultural conditions, and its historical path. Perhaps the first factor in the psychological clash with Africa was in the prime of his youth, when he heard about the liberation battles in Arab Africa, such as Algeria, or the rest of the African countries, such as Congo, Kenya, and others.
He was a student in Cairo and close to the African movement and the dreams of Africa.
